Today I want to share the special functions SVDI diagnostic interface supports.

First, what is difference between SVDI diagnostic interface and VVDI. Actually, they are almost with the same function, more compatible car models; SVDI supports BMW, multiple languages; and no supports on BMW for VVDI.

Second. the special function of SVDI:
1. CAN dashboard (many functions via OBD)
A. odometer correction via OBD, including vehicle models, such as year 2009- VW Multivan, VW EOS, VW Caddy, VW Polo, Skoda Hao Rui, Skoda Yeti, Seat Leon, Seat Altea, Exeo and Ibiza and year 2010- VW Bora and Volkswagen Jetta, and etc.
B. VDO instrument cluster (year 2006-)
C. Read and write the data in the dashboard, and NEC MCU immo data (year2009-)
D. Read IMMO security code and pin code; protection on component data via OBD for VW Crafter

2. Use dump tool to calculate security access code and correct mileage after the EEPROM of corresponding unit is read out.

3. Airbag (SRS)
Support reading/ writing Siemens EEPROM of airbag module and erasing airbag crash data.

The other special feature functions of SVDI includes pin converter, service light reset, remote control programming and brake pedal and so on.
