BMW Multi Tool 7.3 version is a high quality auto key programmer that supports CAS 1, CAS2, CAS3, CAS3+, CAS4 and CAS4+. Even if you lost all keys to your BMW X1, it is able to program a new one. Here is a quick guide about how to replace a BMW X1 dealer key use the tool:

1. Pick the BMW X1 door with LISHI BMW HU92v3 lock pick tool.

2. Follow the picture below to connect BMW Multi Tool hardware to the car and the PC with BMW Multi Tool software. Plug the USB dongle to the PC as well.

3. Start BMW Multi Tool V7.3 software.

4. Click on "Connect” in the main menu of the software.

5. Once the software connection is hooked up, you will get a new window. Click on "Key learning”.

6. Click on "Get key information”.

7. You will get another new window. Click on "Add key” and then "Next”.

8. Now you will get a message to remove the key fob.

10. Select "Program dealer key” on the bottom and then select the number keythat you want to program on the left, for example, key No.1, and then click on "Program dealer key” again.

12. Put the key fob that you removed in step 8 in BMW Multi Tool hardware coin and then click "OK” in the software.

13. Next you will get a window asking whether the key being programmed is a smart key or not. Select "No” and the dealer key programming will start instantly.

14. Once the programming is finished, take out the new key and test if the new key will work for the car.

Get INPA/Ediabas software

Install INPA/EDIABAS USB driver

Plug in the D-CAN cable into your USB port. Follow system prompts to install the driver software (if an installer is provided).
Connect the cable into a USB port on your PC. The PC should automatically search USB cable drivers. Follow the prompts to install the driver.
Once installed, go to Control Panel -> System -> click on the Hardware tab, and then click on Device Manager to make sure there is ‘USB Serial Port (COMX)'.
Right-click on the above and select ‘Properties’, then click on the ‘Port Settings’ Tab and then click on ‘Advanced’.

* Make it look like this (except for the Com Port number):

* Press OK and close all other windows with the OK button.

Setup INPA/EDIABAS software

* Extract the contents of the N54-Injector-Coding.zip file to the C:\ drive!
* Create a shortcut from C:\INPA\BIN\INPALOAD.EXE to your Desktop
* Go to System Properties. Under the Advanced tab, click the Environment Variables button:

* Edit the Path Variable and make sure you append (add to the end) the following: C:\EDIABAS\BIN

Add a new system variable by pressing the New... button. For Variable type in: ediabas_config_dir . For Value type in:
C:\EDIABAS\BIN as shown below:

Click on 'OK' and close all the windows, restart your PC to confirm all the changes.

* Go to C:\EDIABAS\BIN folder. Open OBD.ini file in a text editor. The first 4 lines should look like this:
[OBD]
Port=Com5
Hardware=OBD
RETRY=ON

Make sure that the port number matches the one you set during the D-CAN USB driver installation! If the COM port numbers do not match, EDIABAS will not be able to talk to your car!

Once you verified that this is the correct port number the D-CAN USB driver is using, save the file in its current location.

* Copy C:\EDIABAS\BIN\OBD.ini file to C:\Windows folder!

* Restart your computer! This is very important!

Newest version V4.5 BMW Creator C310 scanner is available in obdii365 now. Here is the process for updating process.

Step 1: Insert the CD software in the package into the computer. Open the CD software and find out Creator C310 V4.5 update bin file and setup exe. Open "Setup-V4.5 exe” driver.

Step 2: Click "Finish" button after successfully installing the setup driver.

Step 3: Back to the main menu interface. Connect the Creator C310 scanner into the computer via USB port.

Step 4: Select "Update" on the function list
