Problem:

I’m having issue with BMW BDC3 cloning using Keydiy KD-X4programmer, software is up to date , works on pc software but not iPhone.

Solution:

It is ios issue not your device.
That error comes when data package not syncing correctly on iphone.
Try delete app and reinstall then download data again.
Also check version because ios usually behind android updates.
If still same use android for bdc3 it works more stable.

iPhone doesn’t get update till way later try on android will work.

Can used keys be reused?
Yes, that was already the case, but now you can change the ID.

It will modify both brand new and used OEM key’s ID.

When writing to original (OEM) key, it will come up just before writing.

After replacing a damaged Body Control Module (BCM), a HarleyDavidson Sportster 883 failed to start due to an activated anti-theft fault. Normal operation was restored by performing theModule Replacementfunction onOBDSTAR MOTOMASTERto complete the module learning process.

Solution

Solution: Use OBDSTAR MOTOMASTER to execute theModule Replacementfunction. This allows the newly installed module to complete the learning process, thereby clearing the anti-theft fault.


Detail Steps:

①Select MOTO Diag--HARLEY DAVIDSON--Latest Version to enter Diagnosis menu.

②ClickAuto Scan; (Alternatively, you can manually select the ENG System via the system menu) ;

③Click the Enter icon on the right side ofENGto access the engine system menu. (If entry fails, use theScan ECUfunction below to check the engine system status. If the ECU cannot be detected, please troubleshoot the engine module's working status) ;

④ClickSpecial Function,then clickAgree, follow the prompts, enter the password123, click OK ;

⑤Click theModule Replacementfunction ;

⑥Click OK ;
⑦Attempt normal start once as prompted by the device ;

⑧Function finished, the BCM module has been successfully learned ;

TheWAKE line (encrypted pin 17)is not connected.

Use the wrong adapter.

Problem:

Added keyless entry to an 2023 Audi A3 8Y MQB49 5D system usingKeydiy KD-X4and now the keyless entry no longer works (locking and starting work). When I pull the handle, the LED on the key flashes, but the car doesn’t unlock. Any solution?

Solution:

Audi A3 5D uses a UWB key that’s why proximity in handles doesn’t work; youmust use original uwb key.
1 uwb key + 1 non-uwb key = no UWB function.

Keydiy FGB08comes with the 5Dbasicprogram. It does not currently support vehicles with UWB functionality.
It only supports the 5D program for all vehicle models.

Customer solution:
It happened to us on VW Polo 5C key , than we added the KD key first and the original key as second and it helped, the Keyless entry and start was working as it should.
It is worth a try.

How to Add VAG MQB49 5C 5D Key withAutel MaxiIM IM508/IM608andAPB113 adapter?

Step 1: Read original key data

Go to Expert Mode.
Select Key reading via dump- Key reading via dump for 5C or 5D

Read vehicle information

Read vehicle info and confirm.

Hit OK to continue.

Choose with programmer APB113 or direct connection.APB113 adapteris easier.

Autel will display key wiring diagram. Select one that matches your original key.

Disassemble original key board.

Connect the APB113 adapter with original key PCB following the wiring diagram.

Connect APB113 adapter with XP400 or XP400 Pro. Connect XP400 with IM508/IM608 tablet.

Read IMMO Data.

Read and save immo data.

Step 2: Make dealer key

Select Make dealer key.

Select Make dealer key (wiring). If you add anoriginal key, you need to disassemble original key as well.

Disconnect original key.

Connect a new key to be programmed with APB113 following the same wiring diagram.

Select the immo data saved in step 1.

Writing key data.

Make dealer key successfully.

Disconnect key board from APB113. Disconnect APB113 from XP400 programmer.

Step 3: Unlock SFD

For some 2023 models with SFD security gateway, need to unlock SFD first. If the car does not have SFD gateway, go directly to Step 4 to learn key.

Select SFD Unlock function.

The SFD is locked. Select Manually unlock SFD.

Send the unlocking request information to 3rd party or buyAutel 1 SFD tokenservice to get the unlock code. Select Input token.

Input the SFD token here to unlock SFD.

Unlock SFD successfully.

Finish key learning in 90 minutes.

Step 4: Learn Key

Select Key learning.

Select the immo data saved in Step 1 again.

Verify if the vehicle has smart key or not.

All keys need to be learned.

Follow instructions to learn key 1 and 2.

Key learning completed.

Test both keys.
