Problem:

Keydiy KD-MP toolread original Porsche Cayenne 2021 MLB key ID ok, but failed to calculate key data. load it up to the server, then comes back with server calculation failed error.

Where is the issue with it?

Solution:

Keep KD-MP software up-to-date.

Keep good network connection.
Try to collect data a few more times.
Don’t connect to computer’s power supply during the calculation process.

How to modify MLB key button?

If you need to edit key button, hit "Modify the key button” and you will be able to modify key button configuration.

Problem:

Got the Lonsdor 2015-2018 JLR smart key. Tried to program this key withLonsdor K518ISEdevice but failed. It said the device does not match the key’s area. How to fix it?

Solution:

You may get the Chinese version Lonsdor JLR key. The CN version key is not compatible with the global English machine.

Go to Generate Smart key- Land rover- 2015 to 2018, hitModify configuration.

Read key information.

Check key information. You will see key ID, PSN and software version. Send the PSN to us to verify the key version (whether it is EN or CN version)

Problem:

It is a BMW 3 Series 2013 all keys lost.Yanhua Mini ACDPreads the info before ‘pre-processing’ fine. When do preprocessing, it’s saying "Doesn’t support this SW version”. How to do it?

Solution:

Some versions are not supported for preprocessing, always worth checking by obd before removing.

ACDP cannot work with the firmware version on the module. You need to upgrade it to a compatible firmware.

How to update FEM software with ACDP?

You can update FEM with ACDP without other tools.

Go to theRestorefunction.

Perform the 3 steps.

• Step 1: Backup coding data
• Step 2: Program the FEM/BDC system
• Step 3: Write coding data

Follow the steps to upgrade and choose right SWFL version.

In Step 2 choose update firmware version to 2nd option.

NOTE: Always backall up first then proceed.

If you have Autel tools, you can update FEM withAutel IM508/IM608as well. Make sure you do it on bench and backup coding first.

Go to BMW FEM and do version detect. It will say not supported. Then go to the programming option, ecu upgrade, it will take 10mins. Make sure you have good internet.
Then use ACDP to add key.

Or useXhorse VVDI2, it covers all of versions.

This ECU software ID is 0008.

0008 got new bootloader,there is a bug patching it in obd write, other tools too!

0008 software has a patch that blocks writing/flashing via OBD.

You can use bench, do manual bootloader patch. Bench this ecu, I’ve had this issue with kess3 everytime, on the 3.0 tdi, its the same ECU EDC17CP44.

Optionally, you candowngrade the software to 0005/0003 via OBD, and then everything works over OBD as well.

Here is the tip to identify if your Mercedes Benz BGA key is FBS3 or FBS4 by key shell and key circuit board.

1.By Key Shell

We can tell FBS3 or FBS4 from the key shell.

We can also determine whether it is an FBS3 or FBS4 key from this part of the key. Here is a string of numbers.

With a letter "K” means it’s a smart key, without "K” means semi-smart key.

3 numbersbefore this space indicate it’s anFBS3.5 semi-smart key.

4 numbersbefore this space indicate anFBS4 semi-smart key.

"K” at the beginningmeans it’s anFBS3 full keyless smart key.

"K” in the middlemeansFBS4 full keyless smart key.

2.By Key PCB

On the FBS4 key board, there is a transistor on the right side here; the FBS3 does not have one.
The chips on the FBS4 key board are smaller than those on the FBS3 key.

How to tell if it’s smart or semi-smart:
A full smart key will have an extra accelerometer chip on the top right side; a semi-smart key does not.

Tutorial: how to copy BMW G series BDC02 key with Yanhua ACDP programmer.

Tools used:

• Yanhua Mini ACDP2/ACDP1 hardware
• Module 38 BDC2/BDC3 license activation
• Yanhua ACDP BMW BDC2 BDC3 solder free adapter
• Original key
• New key to be copied (original key or second-hand locked keys)

Requirement:

• Update ACDP PC software to1.0.64or newer
• Update ACDP2 PC software to2.0.58or newer
• Update Android App to3.0.141or newer
• Update iOS app to3.6.4or higher

Procedure:

Disassemble the original BDC2 key. The BDC2 encrypted key has a long main chip on the board.

Connect ACDP, ICP interface board and BMW original key as following:

In ACDP App, go to BMW- FEM/BDC- IMMO/Mileage- BDC02/BDC03/BCP/LCD key (encrypted chip) ICP copy key- BDC02 Key (rectangle main chip).

Read original key data.

Verify the original key info and take a screenshot.

Note the backup file’s path, date, time, VIN and key ID.
The file name must end with the ".bin” extension.

Select the corresponding menu to proceed the key writing according to the new key type.

You can write into BDC03/BCP/LCD display keys.

The new key is compatible with both brand new original keys and 2nd hand locked keys.

Disassemble the new key, and confirm the key type.

Connect ACDP, ICP interface board and new BMW key.
Replace the BDC2 key with a BDC3 key.
Switch the DIP button to the BDC3 side.

Write BDC03 key Square main chip.

Do not connect the original working key to avoid erasing the data of the original working key and causing the key to become invalid.

Verify the new key info and take a screenshot.

Read new key data successfully.

Note the backup file’s path, date, time, VIN and key ID.
The file name must end with the ".bin” extension.

Click OK, select the correct original BDC2 key data.

Check whether it is the original key info.
Write key data finish.

Reassemble both keys and test them.

How change VAG MQB49 5C 5D Key ID to match original system inKeydiy KD-X4? This is a frequently asked questions of Keydiy MQB49 function.

Here is the clue.

First of all, need to disassemble and read original key data, then generate a service code.

Keydiy will display two key IDs. Place original key into the KD-X4 induction coil, it will display key ID and check which ID between these two is the original key ID.

We can write the ID of the original factory key onto the key to be matched.
After programming the dealer key, we will write this ID to it.

NOTE: Only Keydiy remote allows modification of ID.
Select the Service code- chooseFGB remoteand generate dealer key.

SelectChip function- Automation detection clone.

Place the Keydiy FGB remote to the KD-X4 induction coil.

Hit Start identifying.

It will read chip type and ID. HitChip editing.

Modify the ID to original key ID.

Write ID successfully.

Identify remote information again.

Now you can see key ID has been changed.

After changing key ID to match original system, then you start learning keys in car.
