Instruction: Program 2021-2025 Chevrolet Cadillac GMC Buick new system smart keys (new style knife shaped key) using GM Techline Connect Software. All 3rd party OBD tools (OBDSTAR, Autel, Lonsdor) cannot get the 24-digit security code for these new system models. The reliable and easier solution for now is Techline Connect programming. No pin code is required.

Step 1: How to Set up GM Techline Connect SPS2 Software

If you already have TLC installed, go to Step 2.

If not, check the instructions below to set up TLC.

You’re going to need to go insideyour ACDelco.

Choose the subscription here on the top and you’re going to go down to where it saysService Programming System SPS2.

You’re just going to choose one vehicle and you’re going to do add to cart. It is going to cost $45 each VIN. Checkout and accept the license agreement.

We’re going to go down and we’re going to place order now we’re just going to put our card information so after we have purchased we just go to subscription.

Hit View and add VIN.

Then system will bring us to download TLC program.

We basically going to be able to download the Techline Connect.

This is the way you download it. Make sure that all the requirements have met (need Win10 and more O/S and good network connection) and then you can just hit the download Techline Connect.

After it’s done downloading we’re just going to open it up and press install.

Installation successful and completed.

Then we can go ahead and launch your Techline Connect and do your programming.

If he wants us to start our system, just hit Yes on that. It’s booted our computer again.

It will automatically open everything.

Now we’re going to go again to our subscription and we’re going to go to add VIN again.

Install J2534 Wrapper.
Launching TLC.
Then connect J2534 passthru with vehicle and add VIN.

There are many SPS2 compatible devices, i.eAutel JVCI,Maxiflash VCI,VCI200,Launch SmartLink VCI,VXDIAG VCX NANO/VCX SE,VNCI MDI2etc.

Step 2: Program 2021-2025 GM new System smart keys with TLC

For example, It is a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette. We use theAutel V200J2534 passthru device for TLC.

Connect Vehicle. It will read vehicle info, confirm and press Select.

Press the SPS2 to Load.
Reading vehicle data.
After read vehicle data, go toImmobilizer Learnfunction, press Next on the bottom.

SelectProgram Transponder or Remote Key (Add)

Make sure ignition is on, engine is off, then press Next.
If the ignition does not turn on, press Next and continuously open and close driver’s door every 10 seconds until the vehicle turns on.
Hit Next.

It’s going to be the timer going by. It’s a 12-minute of wait.

We place the new key in the cup holder.

Number of keys learned is two. We are going to hit the Yes to program next key.

Press the Push start button and hit Next.

We are going to do it again. Press Push start button. Hit Next and wait for 3 seconds.

Insert new key should be learned in the cup holder, place all other keys outside the vehicle.
Press the Push start button

Ready for key 4.

We can test same test and see that it is already learned.

If we don’t need to do more keys, just hit No.

Press the Push start button for 16 seconds, it says key learning completed.

Hit next on TLC.
Wait 15 seconds and wait another 6 seconds.
Turn ignition off.
Open and close driver’s door.
Hit next and wait a minute and a half until TLC says the immobilizer procedure completed successfully.

BMW X5 Phase 2 F25 gearbox (ZF 8HP45-90) replacement. normally i renew the gearbox with a specific tool but on this model of gearbox it failed no matter what tool was used. so i usedOBDSTAR DC706and P004 adapter to clone it. reading 5 min writing 10 min. job done.

Launch X431 IMMO Plus/IMMO Elite with x-prog3 programmer is capable of programming VAG 4th generation immobilizer all keys lost in 3 ways.

Instruction:

Select VW->Anti-theft key programming->All keys are lost->Automatic detect IMMO system

It detects IMMO type as NEC+24C64

There are 3 ways to program all keys lost for this IMMO type.

1. All Keys Lost via OBD:directly read engine data from OBD
2. All Keys Lost (dump mode):disassemble the instrument for direct reading
3. All Keys Lost Mode 2(Disassemble and Read the instrument): disassemble the instrument, read eeprom chip data.

If there is an OBD method, try read engine data via OBD. If fails to read data from OBD directly, try AKL dump mode or AKL mode 2.

Here we use the 3rd method.
You need to perform 3 steps to program key. Read Immobilizer Data, Generate dealer key and Learn key.
Press Start to read IMMO Data.

Remove the eeprom chip from instrument and put in on the X-prog3 programmer to read eeprom data.

Disassemble the instrument panel.
Remove the gauge pins, the EPEROM chip is inside. Install it onto the EEPOM socket and connect to x-prog3 programmer.

Solder eeprom chip back to original instrument cluster. Connect cluster with x-prog3 with wire harness.
The instrument is going to turn black. It is normal. It will will ok later.
If the procedure is interrupted and the screen is still blank, try Reset the instrument.
Save immo data.

Launch X431 IMMO Plusreads IMMO data CS, PIN and MAC.
Dash will turn black state again, it is normal.
Insert the key into key sensing area, turn on ignition switch to turn on the instrument.
Restore data.

Press Yes to generate dealer key.
Place a new blank key into x-prog3 adapter
Select brand: VW
Generate dealer key successfully.
It will ask to generate next delaer key, press NO if does not need.

Then Learn Key
If the current key is a smart key, here press NO.
Enter number of keys to need to be learned.
Select brand VW.
Insert the key to be learned within 30s and turn to ON position.
For smart key, place the key to be leaned near the key sensing area, press START button.
Key learning completed.

Now test the new key.

How to Install Odis E-18 Software?

First install Odis S, it can be version 23 or if someone has 24. (checkinstall ODIS-S V23)

All files must be unpacked with Winar or another program.
Before starting the installation generate the appropriate license for your region of residence using Engineering License Generation.

1. Install OffboardDiagSetup-Engineering_18_1_0-0201_1. During installation indicate the license file that you generated earlier.

2. Open the Patch folder and copy OffboardDiagLauncher to the main folder (drive C / Program Files / OE).

3. If the Odis E icon has not been created on the desktop, you should create a shortcut from the OffboardDiagLauncher file.

Run Odis E from the icon on the desktop as administrator and after opening you will be asked to indicate where to download the database.
Specify the folder where you previously unpacked OffboardDiagSetup-Engineering_18_1_0-0201_1 (706 mb)
4. Select the language of the database from the ones proposed and wait for the installation to finish.

Then restart the computer.

5. After starting, you need to copy the projects from the MCD-Projects-E folder.
The place where you should copy the MCD-Projects-E folder is Disk C / ProgramData / OE / MCD-Projects-E / VMCD.

Now you can use Odis E18.

One of our customers was trying to clone the Audi A4 MED 17.1.10 TC1797 ECU usingCG FC200ECU programmer. It wrote ‘clone successful ‘ but on the vehicle it start and cuts with ‘SAFE’ on cluster on the vehicle its writing SAFE on the replacement unit and the car start and dies within seconds.

Faults from Replacement Unit.

This is the fault of original unit.

Solution:

The problem is usually caused by abad P-flash file.

Send both D-flash and P-flash data to CG engineer or tuners, they will modify P-flash.

Then write the modified P-flash data to the replacement ECU. It should be fine.

Feedback:

Now car starts after writing the modified P-flash data.

VNCI RNM and Openport 2.0/Godiag J2534 which is a better inexpensive VCI that can be used for diagnosis and programming with Renault CAN CLIP or ADT software?

Renault CLIP:

BothVNCI RNMand Openport work with Renault CLIP software.

Tactrix openport 2.0 original or clone works perfect on CAN-CLiP software but you must make some modifications on Windows registry. (Check:How to set up Openport with Renault CLIP)

VNCI RNM called MTS6535 very good quality Chinese clone, On VCI MTS6535 no other modifications are necessary, works as it is drivers j2534 and CLIP from native DVD.

Openport and other J2534do not work properly on older K-line models(pre-2005).Openport does diagnosis functions only.

VNCI RNMuses the original driver, so it is fully compatible with both old and new Renault models. RNM device will do coding and programming.

Renault ADT:

Some newer vehicles will have a secure gateway so will need to be unlocked, you may need ADT (Alliance Diagnostic Tool) and the Renault E token to diagnose. ADT is the next generation of vehicle diagnosis and repair tool. For example, Trafic 3 Phase 2 is diagnosed under ADT.

If you diagnose these models with CLIP software, it will report error "the vehicle is not subject to diagnosis with the CLIP device, please switch to the ADT device”.

Renault uses ADT VCI for ADT software. TheADTVCI supports diagnostics, programming, and immobilizer functions for Nissan,Renault, and Mitsubishi vehicles from 1996 onwards.

Openport/Godiag/Scanmatik Pro 2 can not be used as passthru with ADT RENAULT program. These VCIs do not work via DoIP. kts560 and texa do not work via DoIP either.

VNCI RNMis a VCI MTS6535 device. Our customers have tested it working with ADT software without issue.

If you need a Renault/Nissan specific diagnostic tool, go for the VNCI RNM scanner. If you just do basic diagnosis, Openport 2.0 is fine.
