This article covers the process of programming smart keys for a 2019 Dodge Challenger using the Lonsdor K518 Pro key programming tool.

Tools used:

Lonsdor K518 Pro

Lonsdor L-JCD cable orFCA 12+8 gateway adapter

New keys to be programmed

For the Dodge Challenger, the Lonsdor Pro provides the capability to add spare key and program all new smart keys when none exist for the vehicle.

The Programming Process

1. Vehicle Access and Identification

Plug the Lonsdor Pro into the vehicle’s OBD-II port.

Power on the device and navigate to the key programming section.

Select "Dodge” – "Challenger” – "2019” – "Smart key” from the vehicle menu

Choose "Read key count” option

Lonsdor will ask for connecting L-JCD or 12+8 gateway adapter.

Switch ignition off and turn on hazard warning lights.

Read key number:

Select "Add smart key” function.

Establishing communication with the vehicle’s immobilizer system.

Reading necessary security information.

Entering programming mode.

Programming new smart keys to the vehicle.

Verify remote functions (lock, unlock, trunk release).

Ensure the vehicle starts properly with each key.

User report:
Did a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander hybrid model all keys lost with OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 and 40 Pin gateway adapter.

It’s a Nissan system.

This model didn’t change that system yet. The connection on the 2025 is usually horizontal where in this model it’s vertical.
Use aftermarket key from Amazon.

If it has no communication with OBDSTAR, use other tool or remove HFM module (with R7F7010193 processor) and read password from dump.

Problem:

Cloned a VW Golf 6 EDC17cp14 ECU withMagic Motorsport Flexprogrammer, did it on bench, written no issues. Everything went well but the car won’t start. Any help?

Solution:

You can’t clone 1-1 because OTP area, need transfer immo data.

You can’t clone this by simply writing the original dump into the donor ECU.
Eeprom has to be adapted to the donor ECU.

How to transfer immo data?

Crypto key for immo data stored in eeprom is stored in otp area. That’s why you can’t just clone. You can do immo off, you can prepare eeprom for new key from otp from new ECU. Or just use MMS way. They make changes in code area to use crypto key that they place in empty area of flash. This way you have clone with all data – even injectors code but you cannot then update ECU.
You should upload your readings (Flash and eeprom data from ori and donor ecus) to mms service vag auto clone. They will transfer immo data for you.

It’s an Audi SQ7 2024 and it has Bosch MG1CS008 HW80 ECU.

Do I need to do SFD unlock and after thatAutotunerwill write?
Is it all OBD2 or Bench?

Here is the clue.

Needs a unlock. Not all hw80 are locked. The most of them are locked.

It needs a hardware unlock, them sfd unlock, then you can flash it.

This is MG1CS008 HW80 SFD2 !!
Needs 3 Steps
1. Send ECU out to get it unlocked (no regular tool at this moment). Send to autotuner office for unlock.
2. After ECU has OBD unlock
You will have to do SFD unlock online (Odis or most acurate tester, i.e Autel/Launch X431/Topdon etc with online subs can do this now) after SFD is open you can flash it OBD for 90min
3. Flash OBD with tools or pack your own odx/frf and tune it.

TheAutel VCI200is a J2534 and works on newer protocol vehicles.
It is tested working with pcm flash, tested.
Use Autel driver.
Select J2534 Autel VCI200 interface in pcmflash sofware.

Then learn key withKD-X4.
Using KD ZB smart remote.

It is a Range rover evoque 2020 all keys lost.
Other locksmith was able to program key using the clone fonction but keyless start would not work.
Replace chip, write initial data withAutel IM508 XP400then learn KVM (takes about 20 min).

Learn the two keys, job done.
If the keys still not work keyless start, need to disable UWB feature.

Keydiy now launchedKD FGB08VAG MQB49 5D smart remote PCB with built-in program. It can be used to add 5D key without UWB function.

How to program KD FGB08 5D key withKeydiy KD-X4?

Check instruction here:

First of all, we read the data from original key data and obtain a service code.

The FGB08 remote comes without key shell. Need to install a key shell.

On the key board, the last two buttons are currently unresponsive. This is normal. Their functions will activate after the learning process is complete.

Then we start to generate and learn FGB08 key.

In KD App, select IMMO Programming-VW- 5C/5D Immobilizer System- Start execution.
SelectRead original car key and generate a dealer key.

We already read the original key data, select service code.

Then select the corresponding service code.

Then KD-X4 will ask key type.

ChooseKD FGB typeremote.

Select frequency.
Insert FGB08 key with shell into KD-X4 induction coil.

Generate FGB08 remote successfully.

Then learn FGB08 key in car. Checkstep 3 hereto complete key learning.

Does anyone have a pinout for this key? VW Touran 2020 5c. I can’t find it in Keydiy KD-X4.

Same board as Keyless, but without coils.
Use picture keyless same i tested and i read the same Skoda 2023.
