Here we share a user’s experience with cloning the BMW FEM module.
Cloned a BMW FEM module withXhorse vvdi key tool plusandGodiag FEM/BDC test platformon bench. The fault was left indicator didn’t worked.
So finally cloning was done, car starts but same problem. These BMWs when it’s registered short circuit too many times its permanently disable them.
The problem was the module detected short circuit too many times, and because of that it’s disabled the indicator. It prevents from damage of lights.
There is a short circuit reset option on diagnostic, but not working. Reset didn’t worked on two good diagnostics (Launch X431 and Autel), so last idea was to restore the Donor original eeprom, then of course needed to coded everything to start car and now everything work perfectly.

Question: What’s the difference between Autel MX900 and MP900 diagnostic scanners?
I need something to read codes and do special functions on Corvettes 1997-2026.
Any advice on what to purchase?
