Autel built-in MQB calculator review from Mr.Peter:

"Share my today’s experience with MQB build-in calculator. I haveAutel IM508 + XP400Pro + GBOX2. Car was VW Golf7 2014 with manual gearbox without keyless start.
So, all you need to get sync data is read ECM and cluster immo data.
ECM data was pulled out with Gbox connected to car battery (MED17.1.25). Autel read flash and eeprom data to calculate immo data.
I read cluster data withAPB131 adapterwithout any issues. Chip was D70F3526 so you have to remove 3 capacitors but its quite big sized so it is not so serious problem.
After reading of both datas, I went to AKL function menu, where I upload all data and Autel generated me sync file and prepare dealer key.
Last step was to install everything back in car, clear fault codes and start key matching.
All done in aprrx 3 hours (with 2 times journey to car).

Problem:

Update v3.4.0.0 has been released. However, after updating to v3.4.0.0, myCGDI MBfirmware won’t update, returning error 25E1. The program doesn’t recognize the CGDI MB or serial number. When I roll back to v3.3.6.6, the program recognizes the CGDI MB and serial number.

Solution:

3.4.0.0 works but aslo needupdate firmware of CGDI MB.

Problem:

It’s a GM Delco E98 ECM. Read it on a CG FC200 programmer on bench mode. Then disabled DPF EGR OFF and wrote the file after checking it. The writing was successful, but now the ECU’s maintenance light isn’t working and the ECU isn’t responding.
Do not write or read at all.

Any solution?

Solution:

Bad flash.

CG FC200 is not very good at it (bench mode).

Try to recover this ECM in boot mode.

Boot mode and need seed key.

UseOBDSTAR DC706, i/O Terminal or trasdata to recover in boot mode.

You need to have the shadow password.

Xhorse has released 3 types of MLB keys (Audi XSMA41EN, Audi A8 XSMA81EN and Porsche XSMPS1EN style).

There are no xhorse MLB keys available to be bought currently. There is a shortage.

You can try keydiy MLB26 remote to replace XSMA41EN.

Users can add this mlb-26 keydiy key without KD-MP tool.

Keydiy now has 4 types of KD MLB remotes:

MLB26 Audi style

MLB08 Audi A8 style

MLB19 Porsche style

MLB65 VW Touareg Style

MLB08/MLB19/MLB26/MLB65 is KD’s OEM solution (44-PIN), meaning it should be able to be used with other devices (except KYDZ. KYDZ locked their device to use its own key only)
The KD keys work fine with VVDI MLB Tool.

KD remote price is lower and it is actually available to be bought.

NOTE: You cannot use VVDI MLB keys with Keydiy KD-MP tool.

How to use KD MLB Keys withVVDI MLB Tool?

You have to go to Special option and assign new random ID number to the Keydiy key/ remote.
After you set the ID number on keydiy MLB remote/ key you can proceed as usual.
Xhorse tool will take 200 points and you can preprogram the keydiy remote.
After that just learn it on the car.

Some users also use aftermarket oem key from aliexpress for a little more the kydz keys.
Xhorse MLB tool would see key and give key ID.
But be careful as we’ve used one didn’t work, one stopped working a few months later.

Problem:

Added 2 keys to Fiat Ducato 2015 with Marelli BSI, i used also Marelli keys . Programming was successful byxhorse vvdi key tool plus, car starts but remote is not working, already did disconnect battery , disconnected bsi power , leave key 5 min. On ignition, waited more then 10 min. But remote will not work. How to get remote working?
