Autel IM608 Failed to Add RAM ProMaster 2023 Key Solution

Problem:

I do have right now Dodge RAM PRO MASTER 2023 ( SMART KEY ) Push to start.
I got the key from the dealer from the vin number.
Autel IM508Stelling me put the key next to the push start button (without pressing any buttons )
Key doesn’t need to be programmed, Car won’t accept any keys.
Any recommendations?

Solution:

Read pin under dodge and program under fiat.

It’s a hybrid between dodge and fiat.

I tried reading pin under fiat and it didnt work so iread pin under dodge and then went to Fiat 500 xl proximityto program..

2018 Dodge Charger .How to Install a Used PCM (GPEC2/GPEC2A) Without the Original Module.

A mechanic in our company bought a 2018 Dodge Charger with a 6.4L engine, but its PCM (GPEC2A) was stolen. He purchased a used PCM, but installing it in the car turned out to be a major problem! What’s the Issue?

There is no clear information on how to synchronize a used PCM with the immobilizer (RFHUB/BCM). Even expensive tools likeAutel IM608do not support this function. The ECUHERO software can clone these PCMs but does not allow installing a used one without the original.
The mechanic sent the PCM twice to a specialized company that handles these issues, but they were unsuccessful.

Autel IM508 Does not Charge Problem Solution

Autel IM508orIM608series doesn’t charge or hold any charge. How to fix it?

Solution 1:

User solution:

Dismantle display carefully, strip red and black wire and connected power source directly for 3 hours. Now battery charging and hold like new.

 

 

Solution 2:

If not working, replace battery, easy fix.

Autel IM608 Program Nissan Ariya 2022 Key via 40 PIN Cable

Here is the instruction on programming a spare smart key to a Nissan Ariya 2022 withAutel IM508/IM608andNissan 40 pin adapterto bypass pin code.

Locate BCM location. It is under the instrument on the passenger side.

Here is the tip to find BCM module.

Program Nissan Ariya 2022 All Keys Lost via BCM40 PIN Cable

 

ConnectNissan 40 pin gateway adapterwith the module. Here we use 40-pin cable from Lonsdor.

Connect IM608 device with vehicle.

 

 

Go to Nissan->select model year-> Remote Control learning->Add smart key

This function will delete all smart keys.

Turn on ignition switch.

Long press the push start button to turn off the ignition.

Turn on hazard lights.

Put the transmissions in parking or neutral state (P/N). EVL is been unlocked.

Read 1st key ID. Place the 1st smart key on the ignition switch, put the key tag side on the switch, put other smart keys away from the switch.

 

 

Read 1st key ID successully.

Read 2nd key ID. Place the 2nd smart key on the ignition switch, put the key tag side on the switch, put other smart keys away from the switch.

Hit OK to continue.

Start to program key.

Place the 1st smart key on the ignition switch, put the key tag side on the switch, put other smart keys away from the switch.

 

 

Learn 1st key successfully.

Place the 2nd smart key on the ignition switch, put the key tag side on the switch, put other smart keys away from the switch.

Learn 2nd key successfully.

Test both keys.

How to Recover GM E78 ECM with OBDSTAR DC706

BothOBDSTAR DC706and I/O Terminal will recover many GM ACDelco ECMs with shadow password in boot mode (checkprevious post).

Importance of Reading ShadowFlash in DC706:
When reading some ECUs with the DC706, the equipment gives us the option to read ShadowFlash.
Recently, while trying to clone an E78 ECU from a Silverado, the module became useless after attempting to bench write it. The writing was not possible and ECU stopped communicating by OBD (appear the code p0606 (code referring to the processor)).
However,DC706 offers us the option of writing by boot, but when trying to connect, the team requests a password.This password can be obtained by reading the ShadowFlash earlier.
Thanks to this function, it was possible to recover the ECM and avoid its loss.

 

Just to be clear, the option to read shadow flash does not appear in the boot menu, it is obtained by bench. If you open the delco e78/bench menu you will find the option of shadow flash.
