Since Jan. 2025,APPRO2has supported the Mercedes-Benz 2018-2023 HU6 instrument cluster (with processor R7F701403) odometer correction.
Here is an example.
Run APPRO2 software.
Go to Mercedes Benz function- Benz Mileage Tool- HU6 (IC177) 2018-2023 without CAN Filter.
Check wiring diagram.
Remove and disassemble HU6 cluster.
Locate processor CPU R7F701403.
Solder RH850 adapter wires to the cluster according to the wiring diagram and connect RH850 adapter withAP-PRO2main unit.
Follow steps below to correct mileage. The APP2 will calculate mileage data online. Make sure you have stable network connection.
1.Read/Crack CPU info.
2. Preprocess CPU
3. Read Config data
4. Calculate service data online (decrypt Config data)
5. Write service data.
6. Turn off ignition and exit service mode.
Then follow prompts until finish.

In this guide, we’ll walk through the process of creating a dealer key using the XTOOL IP900/D9/X100 PAD3 etc and KC501 programmer. This method involves reading theID48 chipfrom the vehicle’sEPROM(95C320) to extract the necessary data for programming a new key.
Tools Required
- XTOOL IP900/D9/A80/X100 PAD3etc(withKC501adapter).
- Soldering equipment (hot air station, flux, soldering iron).
- EPROM reader (compatible with 95C320 chip).
- New ID48 transponder chip(for dealer key).
- Magnifying tool (for identifying chip pins).
Step 1: Locate and Remove the EPROM Chip
- Access the ECU: Open the vehicle’s immobilizer unit to locate the95C320 EPROM chip.
- Identify Pin 1: Look for the small white dot or marking on the chip (bottom left corner). This indicatesPin 1, crucial for proper alignment.
- Desolder the Chip:
- Applyfluxaround the chip to ease removal.
- Use ahot air station(set to ~400°C) to gently heat the chip’s edges until it lifts off.
Step 2: Read the EPROM Data
- Connect the Chip: Place the desoldered chip into theEPROM adapter, ensuringPin 1aligns correctly.
- Use XTOOL KC501:
- Navigate toSpecial Functions > EPROM > ST 95C320.
- Select"Read Data”to extract the immobilizer information.
- Save the data.
Step 3: Extract the PIN Code
- Open XTOOL IP900:
- Select IMMO Reset-Volkswagen > Passat CC (2008–2017).
- Choose"Get CS Code”and load the saved EPROM file.
- The tool will automatically display the4-digit PIN code(required for key programming).
Step 4: Program the New Key
- Prepare the Key:
- Place anew ID48 transponderin thekey programming coil(connected to the KC501).
- Start Programming:
- Select"Make Dealer Key”and enter the extracted PIN code.
- Follow on-screen prompts to complete the process.
- Verification:
- The tool will confirm"Success”once the key is programmed.
Final Steps
- Reinstall the EPROM: Solder the chip back onto the ECU (if needed).
- Test the Key:
- Start the vehicle to ensure the new key is recognized.
- Verify remote functions (lock/unlock).

No need to find reset point on BDC2 module, no manual job.

The BDC02 IMMO matching process is simple and safe, taking only 4-5 minutes. The whole process is simple than FEM/BDC:

1. Preparations
Required Equipment and Adapters
APPRO2 Host, USB cable, 12V AC/DC power supply (self-purchased).

A17-BDC02 Adapter (provided free with FN0050 module).

Ensure the software is updated to the latest version.
Vehicle Identification via BMW Self-Diagnosis
Use BMW OBD Auto Recognition [0049] to identify the vehicle model.

Procedure:
Take an example of a2019 Toyota Corolla with Spansion mcu S6J3001. This model can also be done via OBD through 30 pin cable. Here we do it on bench.
The same bench procedure goes to these supported models.
Tools used:
OBDSTAR Odomaster or G3
OBDSTAR P004 adapter
DC-regulated Power supply
Select Toyota software, go to Corolla- Type 4 (2018- S6J3XXX)- Bench mode.

Read the Guide and instructions.
Check pinout.
Connect cluster with Odomaster via P004 bench jumper. Don’t forget to connect a power supply.
Turn on ignition switch on P004 to turn on cluster.
Step 1: Read cluster information. It detects mileage data 5,788km, the same as in the cluster.
Step 2: Read eeprom and backup data.
Step 3: mileage correction.
Read mileage and confirm mileage data again. Write new mileage.
Input the desired mileage, i.e 4,000km.
Step 4: Write EEPROM.
Read mileage data again. Odometer correction is completed.
CG100Xalso does Toyota S6J3001 mileage correction,OBDSTARis easier than CG100X. Don’t need to disassemble cluster to solder wires.

2015 SRS model Mitsubishi Outlander crash cleaning withOBDSTAR P50pinout no issue.
Wouldn't let erase codes with any other scanner, it was error trying, removed and cleaned it with p50 and no problem.

OBDSTAR P50clear TOYOTA CAMRY 2022 airbag crash data successfully.
Cleaning the airbag module. TOYOTA CAMRY 2022 American, crash module, multiple detonated bags, changed bags, belt unlock, module removed and cleaned via PinOut with OBDSTAR P50, took almost 30 minutes to do but it turned out fine.

Read FW Version... 8917F06571
Even carprogtool can fail to clear crash for this airbag on bench, P50 succeeded.
You can clear and remove crash data from the SRS control unit dump, erase all crash error codes.
Just follow the instructions and it worked perfectly.

Some users have reported that the MB SD C4 DoIP/Super MB Pro M6 Xentry software (purchased through internal channels) suddenly stopped working on April 1st, 2025. After entering the usual username(Xentry) and password (8888
, the program fails to open.
This issue affects different versions of Xentry XDOS OpenShell, 2024.03, 2024.09, 2023.09 etc.
This issue affects specific Mercedes-Benz diagnostic tools:
- MB SD C4 DoIP
- MB SD C5
- Super MB Pro M6+/M6
Note: This issue does not affect users with VXDIAG devices running different software.
Solution
ForC4 and M6 deviceswhere the Mercedes software fails to log in, the offline config file was expired. Follow these steps to solve the problem:
- Locate the Replacement Files:
- Download the offline configuration files (offline_properties).
- Replace the First File:
- Navigate to:C:\ProgramData\Mercedes-Benz\config\XD_DT
- Replace the existing file with the new one.
- Replace the Second File:
- Navigate to:C:\ProgramData\Mercedes-Benz\config\XD_MB
- Replace the existing file with the new one.
Important:Both files must be replaced—skipping either one may not resolve the issue.
