Many people use the regular version JLR SDD 165, it will display a red icon offline status and fail to download calibration files. Some others reported the VMware version works no issue.

SDD – works with many J2534 devices. IncludingVXDIAG VCX SE JLR,VNCI JLR, Mongoose Pro JLR, OpenPort 2.0. Problems can only arise with clones of poor quality.

NOTE:

If you run into this VM the trouble of logging into an account for which the data was stored in a file. You can shut down image and restart it then it works.
