After replacing a damaged Body Control Module (BCM), a HarleyDavidson Sportster 883 failed to start due to an activated anti-theft fault. Normal operation was restored by performing theModule Replacementfunction onOBDSTAR MOTOMASTERto complete the module learning process.
Preparation
Preparation: MOTOMSTER, M001A, M034
Solution
Solution: Use OBDSTAR MOTOMASTER to execute theModule Replacementfunction. This allows the newly installed module to complete the learning process, thereby clearing the anti-theft fault.

Detail Steps:
①Select MOTO Diag--HARLEY DAVIDSON--Latest Version to enter Diagnosis menu.
②ClickAuto Scan; (Alternatively, you can manually select the ENG System via the system menu) ;
③Click the Enter icon on the right side ofENGto access the engine system menu. (If entry fails, use theScan ECUfunction below to check the engine system status. If the ECU cannot be detected, please troubleshoot the engine module's working status) ;
④ClickSpecial Function,then clickAgree, follow the prompts, enter the password123, click OK ;
⑤Click theModule Replacementfunction ;
⑥Click OK ;
⑦Attempt normal start once as prompted by the device ;

⑧Function finished, the BCM module has been successfully learned ;
